Funding
The Oregon Office on Disability and Health has been continually grant funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 1994 under Cooperative Agreement #U59/CCU010935. It is a collaborative effort between Oregon Health & Science University and the State of Oregon Department of Human Services.
Mission of OODH
To promote the health and wellness of Oregonians with disabilities through:
- collecting population data
- women with disabilities breast health promotion
- emergency preparation training
- workshop opportunities for people with disabilities
- community engagement activities
- classroom based education
- sponsoring the annual Celebrate Wellness conference
- policy development
- dissemination of materials and information
