No healthy lifestyle is complete without regular physical activity. Jerry will discuss the advantages to your health that result from being physically active. He'll cover the benefits of eight major areas - your heart, lungs, bones, muscles, hormone function, immune system, emotional balance, and weight management.
How to start being more physically active? Bob Rose

She will talk about her open water swims including her relay swim across the English Channel, her relay triathlons from Alcatraz Island in San Francisco, and her 9-mile swim across Lake Tahoe. Karen's exciting stories will help keep you excited and motivated about your fitness goals!

Yoga for Everyone: 1:30 - 2:30pm or 2:45 - 3:45pm

Celebrate Your Body and Choices Through Movement: 2:45 - 3:45pm

In this workshop we will honor and respect our bodies by saying no and yes to the ways we choose to move and participate. We will ask our bodies, What feels good to you? and respond in movement that nurtures and honors the response. We will practice the suspension of judgment of how we move and think; and allow ourselves to celebrate our differences. Facilitator: Kathy Coleman, MSW, Dart Advocate.
