WHAT'S NEW AT THE CENTER

 

A NIGHT FOR NETWORKING- October 13, 2011

The second annual FREE event will provide the chance to discuss and explore employment, recruitment, workplaces, markets, and diversity - bringing together:

  • Individuals with disabilities
  • OHSU community and event sponsors
  • Local businesses
  • Government and
  • Supporting affiliates

This event will highlight people with disabilities who provide a skilled and talented pool of professionals, customers, entrepreneurs, and valuable employees.

The event is part of OHSU's continuing efforts to build bridges and connect the community with the diverse populations it serves.


The 2010 event was attended by more than 150 people, and connected individuals with disabilities with local employers, government representatives, and supporting affiliates.  The goal was to facilitate employment connections while highlighting disability as an asset to good business.
