About Us

OPER collaborates with other organizations within and outside the OHSU research community to consult, design, implement and model best practices in research and evaluation within the fields of developmental disabilities, disabilities research and special health needs.

OPER supports social science research, outcomes development and assessment, program evaluation, and epidemiological studies. We support family and consumer participation through the effective use of data and as participants in the research and evaluation endeavor. Additionally OPER seeks to increase the research skills and knowledge through targeted staff development and trainee development.

The OPER staff is comprised of the following individuals who specialize in program evaluation and outcomes assessment: an epidemiologist, a data systems analyst, an evaluation specialist, and a research assistant. We are able to provide support for a wide spectrum of research activites.
