Christiane Winter

Christiane Winter, Research Data Warehouse Analyst-Pediatrics, is a member of the Research Data Warehouse (RDW) team of the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) and works in collaboration with the Office of Program Evaluation and Research (OPER). Her current work includes the support of pediatric research projects by making clinical data from the RDW available for investigators. The RDW provides clinical information for research such as patient demographics, clinic encounters, diagnoses, medications, lab results, and insurance information from the OHSU electronic medical record system (Epic). Christiane has over 10 years of data analysis and data management experience in various research settings. Her recent work has included development and dissemination of several large clinical research data collection systems (Craniofacial Program Database, Newborn Screening Long-Term Follow-Up Database, Ototoxicity Database, Cochlear Implant clinic Database).


Christiane has earned a B.S. in Biology from Washington State University and a Mathematical Technical Assistant Certificate from the Technical University Munich in Germany. She has previously worked as a consultant for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and a scientific computer programmer at the University of Utah Biomedical Test Laboratory.
