The Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) Recruitment Service assists rural communities to recruit primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician’s assistants, as well as specialty providers and allied healthcare professionals by posting opportunities on-line with the national Rural Recruitment and Retention Network, www.3RNet.org.  Opportunity information, including direct site HR contact information, can be readily viewed by interested providers.  

The ORH Recruitment Service can also work one-on-one with candidates to assist them in selecting potential practice opportunity sites that most closely fits both their professional and personal needs.

Conrad Program - J1 Visa Waivers In order to fill a need for physicians, Oregon joined more than forty other states in offering a Conrad Program (named for Senator Kent Conrad of North Dakota).
