Provider Tax Credit

Oregon's Legislature passed SB 438 in 1989, creating the Rural Practitioner Tax Credit for Dentists, MDs, DOs, DPMs, NPs, PAs, CRNAs, and Optometrists (up to $5,000 per year) and SB 31 in 2005, creating the Volunteer EMT Tax Credit (up to $250 per year). The Oregon Office of Rural Health is charged with administering all of these programs. Please use the links above or the navigation to the left to learn more about each program.
