TeleHealth Training
The Telehealth Alliance of Oregon (TAO ) will be conducting in-service trainings for Critical Access Hospitals & Rural Health Clinics October 5 @10.00am.

Training sessions will be two hour modules using video conference at six regional sites throughout the state.

Parking instructions: Parking is available at the Market Street Building. The building is located between 5th and 6th streets and between Clay and Market. The entry to the parking garage is on the south side of the building (Market Street, which is east-bound). Parking will be validated for any OHSU employee attending the forum. Non-OHSU employees will need to be prepared to pay for their own parking.

Each participant in the training will be knowledgeable about:
- The concepts of telehealth and telemedicine
- What organizations throughout the United States offer telehealth applications and the specific applications offered
- Which applications are successful and why
- The infrastructure needed for telehealth and telemedicine
- What infrastructure is currently available throughout the state and region
- Current reimbursement for telemedicine
- The models used and those that are most successful
- The components of a sustainable business plan for telehealth and be able to build a plan
- Useful resources and information
