Is My Community Rural?

The Oregon Office of Rural Health utilizes population numbers from the Population Research Center at Portland State University to determine the definition of "Rural'.

The Urban/Rural Check List (July 2006) is a list of all Oregon incorporated towns, their population, and whether or not they qualify as urban or rural.

To find your rural eligibility status for grants from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, go to http://ruralhealth.hrsa.gov/funding/eligibilitytestv2.asp, and plug in your zip code. (You will need to scroll to the bottom of the page).
