DETAILS: Many of our nation's resident live without health care. Health care reform efforts abound. The current model of care is clearly not working - but what will we do about it? Speaker Ralph Prows will lead this seminar designed to examine the consumer and health provider issues raised by health care reform.
Prows, vice president and chief medical officer of Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon, brings more than 25 years of experience as a practicing physician and health care executive. In addition to his responsibilities at Regence, Prows currently serves on the board of directors for the Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation and for the Oregon Health Policy Commission's Quality and Transparency Workgroup.
This seminar is offered by OHSU's Center for Professional Development and the Department of Management in Science & Technology, and the Oregon Institute of Technology.
