Dr. Kimberly Kaplan joined our faculty on October 2, 2006. She comes to us from Stanford University School of Medicine where she taught Pain Management in the Department of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Kaplan attended the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, School of Medicine; and in 1999, she was awarded her medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She completed Anesthesiology Residency Program at the University of Kansas in 2003, serving as Co-Chief Resident during her final year. At Stanford University, Dr. Kaplan completed fellowships in both Pain Management and Pain Research. Among her most recent areas of study are Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Intrathecal Analgesic Drug Therapy.
When she breaks or fun and relaxation, Dr. Kaplan enjoys running, reading, playing piano and traveling.
