Dr. Okada received his M.D. degree and Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA. He continued his training at Stanford University with an Internal Medicine residency and Hematology fellowship. While at Stanford University, Dr. Okada conducted research in Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy. He was a faculty member in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan faculty and Staff Physician at the Ann Arbor VA in 1998-2004. While at University of Michigan, he was the co-director of the Cutaneous T cell Lymphoma Clinic and participated in Multidisciplinary Lymphoma Clinic. He joined the faculty at OHSU in 2004 where he continues to see patients with T cell lymphoma. His laboratory research is directed at developing cancer vaccine for lymphoma. Dr. Okada also sees hematology patients at the Portland Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.
