Dr. Kemmer earned her medical doctorate at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She then completed her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she stayed on for one additional year as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She went on to complete her fellowship training at Oregon Health & Science University. Most recently, from 2003-2006, she practiced general hematology and oncology at the Annapolis Oncology Center with a focus on treating women with breast cancer and counseling high risk women.
