Dr. Fromme is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics with an adjunct appointment in the School of Nursing. He is also a Senior Scholar in the Center for Ethics in Health Care. Dr Fromme directs the OHSU Palliative Care Research Program which studies pain and symptom management and palliative care with the goal of improving palliative care for all Oregonians. He is responsible for the development of palliative care research, education and clinical practice at OHSU. He is a memeber of the OHSU Palliative Care/Comfort Care team and serves as a hospitalist for OHSU. His clinical interests include pain and symptom management, particularly in cancer, palliative medicine, and physician well-being.
