

The Center for Hematologic Malignancies is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative center contained within the Oregon Cancer Institute and the Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology at OHSU. The many professionals involved are dedicated to the development of new and improved treatments for the management of patients with all hematologic disorders, while providing close and personal patient care. The faculty have years of experience and includes specialists in all the major blood based-cancers. We have physicians whose expertise is focused on chronic myelogenous leukemia, myelodyplasia, adult acute leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), as well as physicians who specialize in bone marrow and stem cell transplantation and its complications. Other pursuits within the Center for Hematologic Malignancies focus on cell therapy and immunotherapy. The center offers support for the entire OHSU facility in cell immunotherapy with its Foundation for Accreditation for Cellular Therapy (FACT) - approved cell apheresis program and stem cell processing laboratory.
