About the Division
With the multidisciplinary efforts of our faculty, scientists and administrators at OHSU, OHSU is fortunate to have been designated as a National Cancer Institute cancer center, the only NCI center in Oregon. The alliance of the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology with the OHSU Cancer Institute provides us the opportunity to give the highest quality in cancer care as well as provide access to innovative clinical and translational research for our patients.
The Division is led by Dr. Mike Heinrich, InterimCo-Division Chief for the OHSU Cancer Care Center & Dr. Brian Druker, Interim Co-Division Chief for the Center For Hematologic Malignancies. They are supported by Section Heads Dr. Tomasz Beer for Solid Tumor Programs, Dr. Thomas DeLoughery for Benign Hematology Programs, Dr. Richard Maziarz for Tranplant Programs and Dr. Michael Deininger for Non-Transplant Programs.
