Office 2007

Most ITG-managed workstations have been upgraded to Office 2007.

If you don't yet have Office 2007 or Office 2008 for Mac
If you have a Mac, or a PC that ITG doesn't manage, you can download and install Office 2007 (for PC) or Office 2008 (for Mac) through the download center.

Note: Installation from the download center is only permitted on OHSU owned devices.

If you need to preserve old Access databases
You can keep an older version of Microsoft Access and install Microsoft Access 2007 on the same machine. In some cases it will be necessary to keep an older version of Access installed in order to use Access 97 database files that will not upgrade. Select "Office 2007, preserve Access" in the download center.

Get Office for your home computer
The Home Use Program is a new offering from Microsoft that enables you to get a licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2007 or Office 2008 for Mac on DVD for your home computer. (Includes the same programs as the OHSU version). The program is only for OHSU employees. Shipping is $19.95 and the software usually arrives in about four weeks.
Note: You'll need a DVD player to install the software. Get Office for home use.
