Email Migration
Here's a before-and-after guide for the the email migration. For Mac info check the Mac migration page.

Document your GroupWise settings
Before your email account is migrated, you must document your GroupWise settings so you can re-create them once the migration is complete. You will not be able to open GroupWise after your account is migrated.
After migrating your GroupWise account will no longer function. You'll use Outlook Web Access – the Web-based version of Outlook 2007 – to read and send email. ITG-managed computers will have an icon on the desktop. If your computer does not have an icon on the desktop, bookmark this link in your Web browser: https://www.ohsu.edu/mail.
Outlook Web Access' premium mode is only available on Internet Explorer 6 and 7. If you use a Mac or a different browser you can still use the basic mode.
Outlook 2007 in July
Since GroupWise and the desktop version of Outlook 2007 do not share resources safely, ITG is installing the desktop version of Microsoft Outlook 2007 only after all GroupWise users have been migrated to the new system (around July 1st). In the meantime, all OHSU-managed workstations will use Outlook Web Access for email.
Passwords
Use your OHSU network username and password to log in to Outlook 2007. This may not be the same password as you were using in GroupWise. Call the Help Desk (503-494-2222) for help with passwords.
If you use the OHSU BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), you need to contact the ITG Help Desk (503-494-2222) to be re-activated. If you have a non-BES handheld, visit the ITG Microsoft Migration website to learn how to connect to the new email platform.
Archives
The migration of archived email may take up to one day longer than your other email. If you have a business need for quicker access to your archives, please call the ITG Help Desk (503-494-2222).
After the migration is complete, use Archive Manager to access your archives. ITG-managed computers will have an icon on the desktop. If your computer does not have an icon on the desktop, bookmark this link in your Web browser: https://www.ohsu.edu/archive.
Missing Archives
After your account is migrated, use the missing archives form to report missing archives.
