Primary patient populations served: Adult bone marrow transplant, hemotology and oncology, solid organ transplant
Length of shifts: 8 hours, weekends only
What makes our unit special:
This unit provides infusions, transfusions, medications and lab draws for patients who must recieve care per protocol or treatment needs normally done in clinics which are not available on weekends. The R.N.s all have chemotherapy certification and extensive knowledge in hemotological, oncology and bone marrow transplant nursing.
