What makes our unit special:
This unit encompasses multiple areas and multiple procedures related to radiology. We do a variety of procedures and have a strong research and teaching focus. There is always something new to learn and do. We work with radiology technicians, clinics, and physicians trained in multiple radiologic techniques. The nurses focus on the care of the patient as it relates to the procedure and the nursing care and sedation or comfort measures required to accomplish the study that is being done. We are always on the go and often work independently. This is fun, fast paced, ever changing work.
