Three weeks of vacation are available for the hand fellow. OHSU provides part or all of the monthly health insurance for fellows, their spouses and dependent children, depending on the insurance plan selected by the fellow. Dental insurance is provided at low cost. The resident may choose to participate in other types of group insurance such as life insurance, disability insurance and accident insurance; these are available at low cost. Professional liability protection covering all activities within the training program is provided for each hand fellow.
