| Meet the Staff Dr. Tasha McDonald, MD Master in Clinical Research Candidate Title: Resident Department: Radiation Medicine Specialty: Radiation Medicine Resident Year: PGY4 (3rd year in Radiation Medicine) Internship: Preliminary Medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center, 2004-2005 Radiation Oncology Training: PGY-2 (1st year Radiation Oncology resident) at the University of Utah, 2005-2006. Undergraduate: BS in Biology at the University of Portland, 1998 Medical School: MD at Oregon Health and Science's University, 2004 Awards: Dr. McDonald was selected as the Outstanding Research Resident/Fellow Award recipient for 2007. Awarded 2007 RSNA Research & Education Foundation Research/Fellow Award (http://www.rsna.org/Foundation/ResearchGrants.cfm) Interest and Accomplishments: Dr. McDonald’s areas of interest in radiation medicine include CNS, pediatric and GI malignancies. As a Research Fellow in the Department of Radiation Medicine during the 2006-2007 academic year, she will be involved in research projects related to prostate cancer, radiation protection, radiation and fatigue, and image guided radiotherapy. Hobbies: During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, hiking, running, cooking and traveling. | |
