Interest and Accomplishments:
Dr. Hubbard is a biostatistician working on development and application of statistical methodology for comparative effectiveness research in cancer screening. She works on several NCI-funded studies evaluating the harms and benefits of alternative breast cancer screening strategies in community practice. She is also PI of a NCI-funded R03 developing new statistical methods for comparing performance of repeat screening tests using data from routine clinical practice. Dr. Hubbard's other research interests include estimation of semi-Markov models for multi-state disease processes and Bayesian biostatistics.
