Department chair, Dr. CR Thomas, Jr., visited the legendary Howard University Hospital in October, as a guest of Dr. Oscar E. Streeter, Jr. (Professor & Chair, Department of Radiation Oncology, Howard University College of Medicine and Howard University Hospital). The Howard program was the first in the U.S. to have an intraoperative radiotherapy suite.
