Ms. Kelly Carson won 1ST place at the highly competitive Oregon Episcopal School Science Fair on March 4th, 2011

Ms. Kelly Carson, currently a high school junior, won 1ST place at the highly competitive Oregon Episcopal School Science Fair on March 4th, 2011.  She  also won "Air Force Award" for best science and engineering project.  Kelly is competing in Intel NW Science Expo in April.  Her Honors Biology teacher is Peter Langley [langleyp@oes.edu] and her OHSU research mentor is Dr. James Tanyi. The title of her project is "Evaluation of Margining Algorithms in Treatment Planning Systems for Tumor Volumes Typical of Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy and Radiosurgery".
