Drs. Tasha McDonald and Patrick Gagnon both have selected presentations for the 10th Biennial ESTRO Conference
Drs. Tasha McDonald and Patrick Gagnon, the co-chief residents for 2009-10, both have selected presentations for the 10th Biennial ESTRO Conference on Physics and Radiation Technology for Clinical Radiotherapy, to take place in Maastricht, The Netherlands, August 30 – September 3.
Dr. McDonald, a recipient of multiple grants as a resident, is the lead author on a poster presentation titled “STEREOTACTIC BODY RADIOTHERAPY AND HYPOFRACTIONATED RADIOTHERAPY FOR HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA: SHORT-TERM OUTCOMES AND LIVER TOLERANCE”.
Dr. Gagnon, a 2009 ASCO Young Investigator Award recipient, is the lead author on an oral presentation titled “DOSIMETRIC ANALYSIS OF WEEKLY ADAPTIVE HEAD & NECK IMRT USING A DEFORMABLE REGISTRATION ALGORITHM” at the “Adaptive IGRT” session.
