September 13, 2007 Media reports that the Department is first in Oregon to feature Calypso image-guidance system
The IGRT program was featured by the local media stations: KOIN News, Oregon Public Broadcasting and National Public Radio in early September 2007. Dr. Hung discussed the potential of the Calypso GPS-like image-guidance tool to increase the therapeutic ratio in the treatment of localized prostate cancer with external beam radiotherapy.
