September 12, 2007 Dr. Wang receives OCTRI grant for GI tumor modeling
Samuel J. Wang, MD, PhD, Chief Resident and Am Board of Radiology Holman Research Pathway Resident, has been awarded a one-year grant for his original grant application titled, "A Regression Model Decision Aid for Determining the Benefit of Adjuvant Chemoradiotherapy for Biliary Tract Cancers", by the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI). The goal of project is to build and test a regression model and software prediction tool that can facilitate the ability for clinicians to make tailored predictions of the benefit of adjuvant Chemoradiotherapy for resected biliary tract tumors.
