Faculty member appointed to NCI's ATC Steering Committee
Dr. CR Thomas, Jr.
, has been appointed to the 8-member Steering Committe of the
Advanced Technology Consortium
Radiation Therapy Clinical Trials Support initiative, funded by the
Radiation Research Program
of the
Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis
within the
National Cancer Institute
.
The goals of the ATC are to enhance the use of emerging technologies that pertain to the treatment planning and deliver of state-of-the-art radiation therapy.
