Interest/Accomplishments:
Megan is originally from Denver, Colorado and currently pursuing her B.S. in Biochemistry and also Biology at the University of Portland. She is vice president of the American Chemical Society chapter at the University and also president of the chapter of OATH (Oregonians against human trafficking) on campus. She also works part time as a chemistry teaching assistant, and is part of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, the ultimate Frisbee club team, and also on the Dean's List. In her free time she can be found hiking and playing music with friends.
 
Summer of 2011, she is working in the Dr. Wayne Zundel's lab. Her project involves mapping tumor phosphorylation patterns that are induced by changes in oxygen levels.
 
After graduating she plans to obtain a MD-PhD.
