Interest and Accomplishments:
Joined OHSU School of Nursing in July 2005 as a Project Director of quality of life cancer survivorship studies. Completed an observational study of cancer survivors examining the impact of peripheral neuropathy on physical function over a 12 month period following the completion of chemotherapy (Dr. Lillian Nail). Currently conducting two studies examining: 1) the inflammatory Cytokine response and fatigue in men undergoing radiation therapy for prostate cancer (Drs. Lisa Wood, Tasha McDonald, & Arthur Hung), and 2) the treatment-related changes in body composition, inflammatory biomarkers and fatigue in women undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer (Dr. Lisa Wood).

Also, I am the current Board President of the Oregon and SW Washington affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure and a 7-year breast cancer survivor. I am an avid soccer player and cyclist. My partner, 11-year son and I live in NE Portland.
