Dr. Bruce D. Minsky was a Visiting Faculty Scholar on Tuesday, April 14th, 2009
Dr. Bruce D. Minsky, a professor in the department of radiation and cellular oncology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, was a Visiting Faculty Scholar on Tuesday, April 14th, 2009. Dr. Minsky, who serves as the chief quality officer at the University of Chicago Medical Center, is one of the world’s foremost authorities on GI radiation oncology.
Dr. Minsky, a prolific author and co-investigator on many of the major cooperative group combined-modality prospective clinical trials for GI cancers over the past two decades, spent time with our housestaff reviwing GI cancer cases and gave a presentation on 'State-of-the-art treatment for rectal cancer'.
