Annual Interdisciplinary Teaching Award
Dr. Mark Deffebach, from the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine & OHSU and the Portland VA Medical Center, was selected by the housestaff as the inaugural recipient of the Interdisciplinary Teaching Award for 2009. This award is given to a faculty member whose primary appointment is extramural to the Department of Radiation Medicine, in order to recognize the multidisciplinary care of cancer patients and importance of inter-departmental and collaborative education in the training of radiation oncologists at OHSU.
