Interest and Accomplishments:
Andrea joined OHSU in 1993 and has been instrumental in departmental transitions. She was a part of the pioneering treatment team that first started treating with the 2100 linear accelerator, and more recently, the trilogy machines. Andrea has seen the OHSU Radiation Medicine department evolve from a small space with the analog 6100 linac to the new department in Kohler Pavilion with multiple Varian trilogy machines and on-board imaging techniques. She likes working with the advanced technology as well as helping patients each day. When not at work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her two daughters, husband and three dogs. She likes a number of outdoor activities including gardening and hiking with her family. Most recently, she has participated in races such as Portland to Coast and Big Sur Relay.
