Since its inception, the Oregon Health & Science University has made scientific discovery -- pioneering research -- the driving force in both biology and medicine. A renewed emphasis on basic and clinical research is especially true in the Department of Radiation Medicine, where investigators and clinicians work in close collaboration to ensure breakthroughs made in the laboratory are quickly translated into improved care for our cancer patients.

As Federal funding for research continues to decline, however, we must look for private support to sustain and advance our many academic and investigative programs. You can play a vital and important role in supporting cancer research and treatment programs through your charitable contributions. The time to give is now.
