Effective Spring term 2009, PMCB students will be allowed to request permission to opt out of one of the required CON courses in lieu of taking another advanced graduate course of equal or greater credit.  This will provide students with increased flexibility in designing their didactic program to meet their specific academic needs.  Students who wish to opt out of a CON course must contact the PMCB office by e-mail (PMCB@ohsu.edu) and identify which course they will substitute for a CON course.  This option is valid for ONE Spring term course ONLY.  Requests must be made at least one week in advance of the Spring term registration deadline.  Registration for the advanced graduate course being requested may occur after notification of approval from the PMCB office.  Students are strongly encouraged to discuss their course options with their advisor.
