MSTC Pediatrics 2

Pediatrics 2 should build on and expand the knowledge and skills that were acquired in the third year. The major shift in emphasis will be to the outpatient setting, with its undiagnosed problems, quicker pace, common and mild problems and emphasis on prevention and well-child care. The rotation has been designed to have several options in order to fit the individual career goals and objectives of each student.

A week or two before the beginning of the rotation, Pediatrics 2 student will receive email notification of their site assignments have been made and are available. 

IMPORTANT: If you have problems with your site placement, please contact me right away. We can certainly make changes and adjustments. My primary goal is to make sure that you have an educationally beneficial experience. My secondary goal is to make sure that you get an experience that is as compatible with your preferences as possible.
