Site Placement Instructions

About a month before the start of the rotation, all registered Pediatrics 1 students will get an email instructing them to access this website to begin filling out their forms and looking over course information.

In order to get you started on this rotation you will need to complete a form and pay close attention to some important information.

A. Rotation Site and Specialty Assignments and Course Information

Please look over the site and subspecialty descriptions by clicking on the appropriate links in the blue box to the right of this window.

Use this information to complete the site selection form. There is a link to this form at the bottom of this page.  This form is also available in the blue box to the right of this window.

Be sure to keep these things in mind when filling out the form.

1.  Not all students will get their top choices.

2.  Students need to follow the directions carefully. Regardless of which site students prefer, all students must rank all  the Doernbecher Subspecialty Options.

3.  This is not a first come first serve situation. The Pediatric Medical Education team strives to place all students in the  best possible rotation options.

4.   Use the form to convey any special considerations for your rotation. These might include reasons why a specific rotation is exceptionally useful for a student or days when you would like to not be assigned call. We will try to  honor these requests as best we can.

5.  Students who miss the deadline or don’t follow instructions may be placed at the discretion of the Pediatric Medical  Student Education Team.

6.  Deadlines for submission follow this schedule.
