Welcome to the Neuroscience Graduate Program at OHSU in beautiful Portland, Oregon! If you're interested in obtaining outstanding training in neuroscience from a diverse group of accomplished faculty, please consider applying to our program.
Students in our program conduct research in all areas of neuroscience and earn the Ph.D. degree. As time spent in the lab is the most important part of graduate school, our program ensures that most of the coursework is completed in the first year. During that first year, students also rotate through several labs, eventually choosing one that gives a mutual fit.
Although our program is relatively new (founded in 1992), our graduates have been highly successful, with many developing their academic careers. The success of our graduates is due in part to the outstanding faculty, who span all areas of neuroscience and are highly regarded by their peers.
