Chaired by the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, the Graduate Council administers graduate programs in the School of Medicine and serves in an advisory capacity to the Dean. The Council is comprised of representatives from departments and programs, and is responsible for recommending policies and appointments, qualifying and thesis defense examinations, stipend levels for students, and other administrative and curricular matters.
