Biography & Education

Michael is a pre-doctoral NLM Fellow in the Department of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology. His main interests revolve around making the vast amount of data produced by molecular biology researchers, particularly genetic and genomic data, more accessible and useful to clinicians. Specifically he is interested in the areas of pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics. Before joining the department, Michael worked as a staff research associate at UCLA studying the genetics of polycystic kidney disease, and later as an assistant editor at MAMM, a health magazine for breast cancer survivors.
