Biography

Hollis Wright is a pre-doctoral National Library of Medicine Fellow in OHSU's Biomedical Informatics PhD track. His current research interest is in computational identification of transcription factor binding sites, particularly through use of information-theoretic and compression-based techniques. Previous work has included software development for single nucleotide polymorphism genotyping and transcriptional control network discovery. He received his BS in Biology from Pacific University in 2000 and an MS in Biomedical Informatics from OHSU in 2005.
