Fellows: Suzi Fei
BiographySuzi Fei is a pre-doctoral National Library of Medicine fellow in Biomedical Informatics. She was the first PhD student to begin the new Bioinformatics track of the Biomedical Informatics program. Her research interest is in bioinformatics for statistical genetics. Specifically, she is interested in the influence of genetic background on transcriptomic and proteomic biomarkers. This area also includes the use of transcriptomics and proteomics to identify genes of interest in disease. Suzi is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Informatics at OHSU and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics from Portland State University. In 2004, she received an HBS in Computer Science and an HBS in Biochemistry/Biophysics from Oregon State University. |
