Contact: Prospective Students Open House Our Open House held on Saturday, October 25, was very well attended and provided prospective students the opportunity to meet with faculty, and with past and present students to learn about biomedical informatics. If you're searching for a nationally recognized graduate program in Biomedical Informatics, mark your calendars for the third annual Biomedical Informatics Graduate Program Open House, Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM in the BICC Gallery (first floor). This information session is designed for prospective students, undergraduate advisors and family members interested in pursing a graduate education in Biomedical Informatics at Oregon Health & Science University. Come and learn about Oregon’s innovative and only Biomedical Informatics Graduate Program. You'll hear about our Medical Informatics and Bioinformatics tracks, our new Health Information Management track in the Graduate Certificate program, rub elbows with our faculty, and get answers to all your questions. These scheduled events will provide an overview of the programs as well offer opportunities to ask questions of faculty, current students, alumni and an admissions representative. Students from all institutions and departments are invited. In particular, women and members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to participate. Attendees will receive a 2-gigabyte USB Flash drive and will be eligible to win an iPod Nano. Hope to see you there!
