**Starting with the 2008-2009 academic year, all students from LCME accredited medical schools must apply using the AAMC's Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS).  Paper applications will not be accepted.**

Visiting student applications are only accepted from students in good standing who are receiving an M.D. from a Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accredited institution.

Applications for the 2008-2009 academic year will be accepted according to the following schedule:

Availability of rotations cannot be confirmed by telephone.

Below are links to an application form, 2008-2009 Clinical Clerkship Schedule, information regarding the availability of clinical electives at Oregon Health & Science University and/or affiliated hospitals and a Immune Status Form.  This form must be received prior to the start date of your elective.

OHSU requires a criminal background check on all visiting students. If your application is accepted, we will provide you with the necessary additional information. Students will not be allowed to begin a rotation until the criminal background check has been completed.

All applications should be received at least 30 days prior to the start of the requested rotation. Applications received less than 30 days in advance will be charged a $100.00 late application fee. No application will be considered if received less than 14 days prior to the requested start date.
