Plan for today. Give for tomorrow. Change the World.
OHSU would literally not be where it is today without the power of planned giving. Two early and transformative estate gifts from C.S. “Sam” Jackson and Frank Doernbecher enabled OHSU to expand its Marquam Hill campus and construct its first teaching hospital - Doernbecher. The vibrant, multifaceted institution we know today coalesced from these visionary acts of planned philanthropy. Ever since, other forward-looking donors have followed suit with support that provides the foundation for OHSU’s future excellence.
Planned gifts come in many forms. Whether in the form of a bequest, a charitable gift annuity, a life-estate transfer or some other giving method, your deferred gift will have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of people living in our region and beyond. At the same time, gift plans can help you make a significant contribution while attaining your own financial objectives. The OHSU Foundation’s office of gift planning is here to help today’s visionary donors create a bright tomorrow for OHSU.
