Oregon Hearing Research Center

For more than 40 years, the Oregon Hearing Research Center at OHSU has created hope for Oregonians suffering from hearing loss. One of the nation’s premier hearing research groups, the center works to protect and restore the gift of hearing by exploring the basic neurobiology of the auditory and vestibular systems. The center also develops and tests new chemical, mechanical and electrical solutions for hearing problems, and is home to one of the nation’s few clinics offering testing and therapy for tinnitus (ringing in the ears).

Private support of the Oregon Hearing Research Center and the Tinnitus Clinic at OHSU can help launch new research that will create new options, new treatment and new hope for patients.
