ALS Center of Oregon

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that eventually leads to total paralysis. The ALS Center of Oregon provides comprehensive care and extraordinary support for patients and their families.

The ALS Center of Oregon is the largest regional organization dedicated entirely to serving the needs of ALS patients. The staff—including neurologists, gastroenterologists, otolaryngologists, physical, speech and occupational therapists, social workers and dieticians—work as a team to give patients the broadest range of care. Staff also work closely with external insurance companies, case managers, primary care physicians and others involved in patient care. The center offers extensive assistance to families of patients through support groups, equipment loan programs, a lending library and caregiving and hospice programs.
