This seminar will cover OHSU’s subject injury position, identifying injuries, and the reporting requirements for industry sponsored and investigator initiated studies at OHSU. This will be a panel discussion including members from the IRB, CRBO, Clinical Trials Contracting, and Risk Management. Our panelists are Kristen Baptiste J.D, Heather Bengtson, B.H.A, Paul Newton, J.D., Kathryn Schuff M.D., and Lynetta St Clair, JD, CPHRM.
Join our discussion to learn:

  • How to identify and report research subject injuries
  • OHSU policies regarding financial responsibility for subject injuries
  • OHSU contract positions on subject injuries
  • Required consent language
  • How/when does OHSU get reimbursed for subject injuries

The discussion will allow plenty of time for investigator questions.
