The course for 2012 begins Tuesday, April 3 and ends Thursday, June 7. Unless otherwise indicated the class will meet in Vollum Room M1441 at 10-11:30 AM on Tuesday and Thursday. Occasional sessions with visiting lecturers may be scheduled at other times. Course schedules, reading assignments and other materials will be posted at SAKAI (http://sakai.ohsu.edu/xsl-portal) and at the course website (http://www.ohsu.edu/nod).

Class grades will be determined based on an assignment of participation, familiarity with reading assignments, study questions, midterm, and final written assignment. Students will also complete a course assessment to help in the continuing development of the course. The course director must be notified in advance of any excused absences.

The course may be streamed live to designated locations on campus. Except for patient interviews, the sessions are videotaped (with permission of the presenter) for archiving on the OHSU intranet.
